Análisis y puesta en valor del patrimonio cultural inmaterial, vinculado a la artesanía tradicional de la ciudad de Catacocha, cantón Paltas, año 2024

Abstract

Abstract: The Paltas canton is declared as cultural heritage of Ecuador due to the material and immaterial heritage that it possesses, one of the main traditions is that of woven fabrics that originate from the Inca era; history shows that the Incas were the ones who made the first carpet on a loom. The present investigation allows us to know the processes and techniques used for the manufacture of these fabrics; in face of this, the creation of the first cultural inventory and the implementation of a marketing plan that promotes the revaluation of these traditions are proposed as an action measure; Consequently, there is a need to implement qualitative methods through descriptive and explanatory research models, which allow for the establishment of a situational diagnosis of the intangible cultural heritage in the city of Catacocha, taking into account aspects such as: identification of tangible and intangible cultural resources and the development of a tourism proposal based on the knowledge and techniques linked to traditional crafts.
