Abstract

Abstract: The proper management of the registry of deceased is a very important task of any city, the Territorial Organic Code Autonomy and Decentralization (COOTAD) establishes this importance and responsibility that all GADs must comply with. This would allow maintaining a correct planning of allocation of available spaces of graves, avoiding problems of saturation of the spaces and managing to preserve the historical memory of the Canton in an orderly manner. The present work addresses the problem of the lack of a comprehensive system, which allows for efficient, orderly and precise management in the General Cemetery of the Zamora Canton. For this reason, the development of a web application has been proposed that will have the objective of improving the adequate management of the registry of deceased and the spaces of vaults, ensuring that the Zamora Cantonal GAD has a reliable tool and efficient to keep up-to-date grave records. On the other hand, this web application will offer a public service that will allow citizens to search and locate the grave of their buried relatives, being a valuable service for all those who seek to remember and honor the memory of their loved ones.
