Abstract

Abstract: The present work addresses the problem of delay in obtaining data on detainees and crimes in the National Investigation Unit Against Illicit Trafficking for Internal Consumption (UCTCI). To solve this problem, an internal web application was made using Next.js for the frontend and Express for the backend, along with TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, and Tailwind for design. The database used is MySQL. This prototype helps improve and automate information management processes in the department information analysis (DAI) of the UCTCI, allowing the recording and management of data arrests and crimes more efficiently. The Scrum methodology facilitated agile management of the project, from analysis and design to prototype development and testing. This system, In addition to optimizing information management, it guarantees a quick and accurate response in police operations.
