Evaluación de la recuperación por knelson y mesa vibratoria de óxidos de manganeso provenientes del sector Piuntza, Zamora Chinchipe

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this work is to determine the gravimetric concentration of oxides of manganese from the Piuntza sector, Zamora Chinchipe by carrying out tests with the vibrating table and with the Knelson concentrator Once the proposed methodology was applied, it was determined through the table test vibration than at a grain size corresponding to #20 mesh, the recovery is higher so we have that in the rock sample with dendrites we obtain 26.17% while that for the rock sample with nodules a 21.51% recovery is achieved, so Similarly, using the Knelson method, it was possible to identify that the recovery is greater with a grain size given by the #20 mesh, this is how 16.78% of recovery for the rock sample with dendrites and 11.25% for the sample with presence of nodules. The development of the combined method between table tests vibration and Knelson reflection that under a grain size conforming to the #20 mesh it can be recover 30.2% for the rock sample with dendrites.
