Abstract

Abstract: The topic of this research is the academic preferences of the students of the Law Career and its connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS) through the study of sentences. The study analyzed the preferences curricula of the lawyers of the Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL) and its relationship with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), through the study of the sentences of judicial decisions. The aim was to understand the factors that influence the choice of particular areas of legal sciences and the specialization of future graduate students. Therefore, sentence series C No. 471 was analyzed, in which it was evident what was one of the main conclusions of the analysis of the sentence, through this study the violation of the rights to life was identified, personal freedom, right to integrity, doctrinal and judicial rights for the support of the same study, at the same time the analysis of SDG 16 was incorporated to demonstrate the progress of the country, public policies for the development of personal security how the skills and knowledge taught can be applied to legal contexts complex and changing.
