Análisis de sentencia perteneciente al derecho penal, enfocando desde el tercer objetivo de las ODS

Abstract

Abstract: This work examines a ruling issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador (Sentence No. 752-20-EP/21) in response to the violation of fundamental rights by Ángel Serafín Maliza Malisa, focusing on the right to due process and the right to health and physical integrity. Through the analysis of Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), which seeks to guarantee universal well-being, the study explores how criminal justice can support these fundamental rights in the Ecuadorian context. The investigation uses national and international legal and doctrinal references, addressing the situation of the prison health system and proposing to avoid future violations of rights. Thus, the work contributes to the strengthening of legal competencies around the relationship between human rights and justice.
