Diseño de un sistema de conservación para el cantón Loja

Abstract

The objective of the implementation of the System of Conservation for the municipality of Loja is to generate a joint between cantonal protected areas within the National System of Protected Areas (SNAP), as well as an articulation between public and private entities with responsibilities and environmental obligations that are working together in efforts to protect important ecosystems. By studying general data were obtained that twelve protected areas are located in the municipality of Loja achieved detailed assessment of management effectiveness and overall level of representation, both of vegetation , ecosystems and vulnerable plant species and endangered , which are protected within the limits of mentioned areas. By the respective analyzis of representativeness are also detailed areas that are not protected and that due to its ecosystemic importance must join existing ones. Finally there is the composition and structure of the city Conservation System strengthens plans and programs carried out both in the Plan and Land Development (PDOT) municipal and parish.
