Abstract: | The man on the land has involved negative impacts to the natural resources and to the people. For this reason the aim of this research was to get information about the environmental problems and social problems that take place on the Pangui. A mixed methodology was applied by means of surveys and interviews, the object-population under study were the people, leaders of the Pangui and enviromental issues experts. According to the results, information was obtained from 400 people, consequently, the main environmental problems were water pollution (70,3 %), soil degradation (12.0%) and air pollution (9.7%). The main social problems were unemployment and poverty. The analysis of the results was about the main enviromental problem of water pollution and the main social problem of unemployment in the Pangui. In addition to allowed us to acknowledge which are the social actors and the affected people. The study allowed to determine the necessity that the authorities involve to the whole collectivity before taking decisions to avoid dissents and to prevent major enviromental and social conflicts |
