Evaluación de los tipos de personalidad según la teoría de Holland, en los estudiantes del segundo año de bachillerato. Estudio de caso en un colegio particular de la cuidad de Loja

Abstract

The following work was developed with the purpose of knowing the personality types, according to Holland's theory, of second year`s high school students in particular institutions of Loja city the city of Loja; With the purpose of identifying which are the most frequent types and their relation with factors such as: gender and socio-economic family situation.

The study design was quantitative, non-experimental, and descriptive; applied in Loja City, in particular educational institutions, with second year’s high school students.

In the data collection process, a "Sociodemographic Questionnaire - ad hoc," and the "Holland Professional Interest Test" (reduced version) was used.

The obtained results were grouped according to the Holland’s classification of personality types. A high number of students felt affinity to the type of “social personality”, followed by the conventional one, while a smaller number of students by the type of “investigative personality”.
