Análisis del proceso de evaluación docente en la carrera de informática del Instituto Tecnológico Superior Vicente Rocafuerte, de la ciudad de Guayaquil, en el periodo lectivo 2016 - 2017

Abstract

The evaluation of the teaching performance is necessary in the educational institutions, as it allows to contrast what has been done with what is still lacking to do as teachers in both academic and professional, therefore, the subject of research is "analysis of Process of evaluation teaching in the career of Informatics of the Technological Institute Superior Vicente Rocafuerte, of the city of Guayaquil, in the academic period 2016-2017 ", where whose objective is to verify if the evaluative process is being carried out properly, so that the evaluation results are reliable. The sample with which it was worked was of 18 teachers, using the descriptive method, statistical and hermeneutic, and for the field research, it was used as technique the observation and the questionnaire, obtaining as general conclusion, a system of evaluation of the Teaching performance aligned to the requirements of the regulatory body and higher education regulations. It allows to detect its main weaknesses and to promote those competencies that make optimal performance, in order to contribute with a level of teaching that allows a meaningful learning in the students of the ITSVT.
