Abstract

This project seeks to make known the literary work of the Ecuadorian writer Pablo Palacio, and tries to encourage the reading between the animated adaptation of one of his stories. Additionally this short film wants to be a guide for the next animated films inspired on the Ecuadorian literature. To carry out this objective, the history of the Ecuadorian literature has been reviewed, the life and work of Pablo Palacio, also the different techniques used to produce an animated film. An important fact about this thesis is the analysis of the production process of an animated film and the posterior description of the particularities of the production of the film Brujerías.
