Abstract

This research project deals with the leadership actions and motivation, applied by teachers in the teaching-learning process at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior Vicente Rocafuerte de Guayaquil into the period 2016 to 2017. It emphasizes the participation in the administrative field and its articulation within the classroom, where student performance was analyzed, and topics related to institutional growth, the type of leadership applied in the work, the motivation received among its members, the characteristics of the good leader are highlighted, emphasizing the needs of education and the benefits of assertive communication. Meaning this that the proposed is to identify how leadership and motivation of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior Vicente Rocafuerte de Guayaquil teachers due to their performance at work influenced by the application of the investigative methods such as: exploration and description of information. From the universe, a sample of 77 teachers were chosen to collect data using the survey as a tool to distinguish the weaknesses and strengths into the management, as well as to affirm that transformational leadership is a priority in the activities of teachers
