Abstract: Consumption of alcohol and other psychoactive substances or drugs remains a universal and constant phenomenon in the history of mankind that today poses challenges to this interest arose from a study of the use of licit and illicit psychoactive substances in adolescents city del Jipijapa San Vicente Canton, with the application of appropriate methods and techniques to achieve the stated objective, so a survey was conducted of persons subject to this study have allowed meaningful conclusions that will help raise an awareness strategies that allow the community about the harmful effects caused by the use of psychoactive substances.
