Abstract

The present work is oriented at recognizing the nature of tourism as a social and environmental practice, through a projectual exploration that allows the proposal to be established as a means for the exchange of experiences and practices within the Colinar Villonaco Wind Farm. Considering the qualities of tourism and its importance as a productive activity, it establishes the possibility of generating spaces that encourage greater interaction between the environment and the citizen, an opportunity that models a tangible idea towards the development of infrastructure and public services of cultural, productive and energetic. According to the territorial dynamics and the existing potential in the city, the strategy of generating spaces for social interaction is established, through a project that facilitates the participation of diverse actors and reflects the opportunity to explore a new urban scenar, as a support for the public space. Therefore, the proposal of the tourist center arises based on the opportunity detected in the tourism field for local economic development, as a space for leisure and recreation of the urban community.
