Abstract

Abstract: It is established that the region in which Ecuador is located, as part of the Western Hemisphere, is placed within the denomination modernity -understood as state of the society-, however its levels of inequality disproportionately unfair son. Their physical condition requires the understanding of the relationship that the dependent countries have with the world production centers, in order to assess the role they play in the world system and, therefore, the effects of the crisis of this system in the peripheries. The article is directed from an interpretative revision of the positioning of Ecuador, in the situation of Latin America, in front of the structuring of the World System and with the way in which they receive the various and repeated cyclical crises of capital, and capitalism mode production and moment of history. The research uses the bibliographical sources, the files and the quantitative-historical sources of support of hypotheses, a proven combination of these sources will look for findings that support the hypothesis.
