Abstract

The present study exposes as a central theme the historical documentation, value and restoration; having as protagonist the minor architecture, taking as a case of study a housing of patrimonial character in Gonzanamá canton; For this, the history, the degree of deterioration and the pathologies have been analyzed. In order to determine each type of pathology in the home, some methods are used; which will allow reaching the final goal that is the restoration proposal and the value added. Therefore, after analyzing the context in which the housing is developed, it is proposed to use the facilities as administrative offices of the canton, thereby revitalizing the spaces giving them the use they had initially according to the research carried out.
