Abstract

Abstract: This research will focus on the results of the research assigned by the Technical University of Loja, which is part of a puzzle project delivered to students at a distance, period April to August 2016, on the partner law firm of lawyers in professional free exercise of Ecuador, ecuadorian case. The main objective of this research is to analyze the institutions and cognitive dispositions that define the subfield of lawyers in free professional practice within the Ecuadorian legal field. For that, a qualitative quantitative methodology was used, a deductive method, and the data were collected with a structured questionnaire, and data were collected with a structured questionnaire that included 119 questions, which allowed, after their tabulation and analysis, to answer the hypothesis of the investigation, concluding the role of lawyers as less active actors within the social construction of the Constitution and the defense of it in Ecuador.
