Análisis de tipologías arquitectónicas en viviendas tradicionales del cantón Saraguro, parroquia Urdaneta, para generar un modelo de vivienda moderna

Abstract

The traditional housing Saraguro, is constituted by a great number of conditions and conditioning, which give form and function to this type of constructions, and for which intervene factors of environmental, human, social, economic, constructive technical nature and of material character, the same ones that have been and will be transmitted from one generation to another, in this way this type of dwellings built with ground base, are very characteristic and representative in all our Sierra Andina, being thus the best option when building a shelter to the inclement weather of the moor. Exposed the above, has conducted a study and analysis of sixteen houses of traditional character, located in the parish Urdaneta, Saraguro Canton. This research is intended to collect data that determine the form, function, structure and materiality, more recurrent within this type of traditional buildings and according to these data collected, will generate a proposal of Housing of modern character, which supplement the needs of the present man.
