Abstract

The present research entitled Adolescent leadership and the practice of values of the first and second year students of the Unified General Baccalaureate, of the San Pedro de Vilcabamba parish of the Loja canton. Province of Loja. Period 2017 - 2018, aims to determine the need to increase programmatic values and leadership through a subject in the hours at the discretion of the first and second Unified General Baccalaureate for the formation of leaders, research that was carried out in the Educational Unit San Pedro de Vilcabamba, with a sample of 9 teachers and 40 students belonging to the first and second year of BGU; this work responds to a descriptive and non-experimental design for the fulfillment of the proposed objectives, using methods such as scientific, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, hermeneutic and statistical that allowed to organize, analyze, apply and assess with the use of teacher surveys and students. The main findings of this research is that there is a shortage of programmatic content on the practice of values and leadership does not allow the formation of leaders.
