Abstract

Abstract: The investigative report with the theme "Incidence of family functioning in school motivation of students of the basic cycle of an educational institution of the Jimbilla parish, Loja canton", was fruitful thanks to the collaboration of the educational community (teachers, students, parents) of the Libertador Bolívar Bachillerato School of the Jimbilla parish, Loja, with the objective of evaluating the incidence of family functioning and school motivation in the students of the basic cycle, delimiting a sample of: 49 students, 49 parents of family and 7 teachers. In this research, methods were used to describe, explain and relate the reality of the study, statistically representing the results and reinforcing the theories that support the work. The techniques and instruments facilitated the study, starting with the bibliographical foundation, the adaptation and construction of questionnaires, surveys and valuation scales. Finally the work concludes, determining the high level of incidence of family functionality in front of the students' school motivation.
