El entorno familiar y su influencia en el rendimiento académico de los alumnos con dificultades de aprendizaje.

Abstract

The objective of this research work is to identify the influence that the family environment has on the academic performance of students with learning difficulties of third and fourth years of basic general education, of the educational institution "Nahím Isaías Barquet", located in the northern sector of the city of Quito, parish of Calderón-Carapungo. The methodology was developed according to the fulfillment of the specific objectives, the field and descriptive research was used, the applied methods were inductive, deductive, analytical, synthetic and hermeneutic. In order to collect and analyze the data collected through the survey and observation techniques, the Pressey test and test instruments were applied. It is concluded that the family has a direct influence on the learning of students who come from families where the parent is a single parent. must support the household therefore occupies most of the time in work activities neglected in this way the academic performance of their children who evidence learning problems in the area of reading and writing and mathematics.
