Feminismo y cultura de paz: la equidad como pilar fundamental en la construcción de la paz

Abstract

The struggles led by women centuries ago, have inherited to us today, a series of rights legally constituted and recognized that have changed the reality of the world. However, although feminist achievements are not few and much less insignificant, they are - at least by themselves - insufficient to achieve the crystallization of feminism's final purpose: equity. From here, it becomes evident the need to generate social changes deep enough to dismantle the domination system called patriarchy. But what is the instrument capable of materializing a change of such dimensions? The objective of this paper is to reveal the ideal means to dismantle the patriarchal system from its bases. This response is achieved through a bibliographic review focused on discovering and understanding the enormous network that perpetuates and naturalizes. The answer to this question not only points to education as the ideal instrument of deconstruction but also to the clear need for a change in the objectives pursued by the State through it.
