dc.descriptionResumen:Next, the mention of the theoretical foundations that describe the historical evolution of the legal profession in the world, in Latin America and in Ecuador; the role played by the study of law, its application and the professional reality of the lawyers who work in the country; and, the contrast of the theoretical foundations of this work with a field study carried out in Quito with the contribution of 35 freelance lawyers, specialists in both traditional and modern subjects, for example, telecommunications, competition law, among others, of the business development of the country, have been exposed in the development of investigative work; In addition, a report is presented on the results of the field study carried out. Determining that, the study of the profession, the clientele and legal weapons are stratified, generating different opportunities and different occupations for lawyers. Also, the difference was identified in terms of the political influence of the lawyers of previous years and currently, the problems in the use of the constitution and the gaps that hinder its correct application.es_ES
