Factores de riesgo para embarazo adolescente en los colegios Liceo de Loja e Iberoamericano periodo Agosto 2016 - Julio 2017

Abstract

Abstract: Objective: To determine the risk factors that contribute to adolescent pregnancy among students enrolled in the "Liceo de Loja" and "Iberoamericano" private schools in the city of Loja. Methods: it is a cross-sectional study, data were obtained through a structured survey, and Beck inventories for depression and anxiety, FF-SIL questionnaire to evaluate family functionality and Rosemberg test to evaluate self-esteem, was performed in 140 female students. The data was stored and analyzed using the Microsoft Excel 2010 program. Results: 10.71% of the adolescents surveyed had already started their sexual life at the time of the survey, the most prevalent age was 15 years of age, 5% had active sex life and none of the respondents had been pregnant. Depression is moderate in 10.71% and severe in 1.43% of the respondents, while 7.14% refers to a moderately functional family and 1.42% severely dysfunctional. A 23.57% moderate self-esteem and 7.85% low self-esteem, while anxiety represented 12.85%.
