Abstract

Abstract:The main objective of the research is to analyze the intellectual capital and innovation of nine food companies in the city of Loja. The work was focused on a descriptive research methodology, using a quantitative analysis and as a technique for data processing the survey applied to the managers of the companies under study was used. The intellectual capital was approached from three points: Human, structural and relational capital, was obtained as results that companies give great importance to the contribution made by their staff in terms of efficiency, innovation, transformation and intelligence that has human capital ; they also have the necessary infrastructure for operations, the protection of knowledge through patents; besides maintaining excellent interrelationships with your community; likewise, they are companies that develop innovation by 88%.
