Evaluación del desempeño productivo y económico de trucha arcoíris (Oncorhynchus mykiss), entre el biotipo nacional e importado, mediante un sistema semi-intensivo en la EA-UTPL

Abstract: 2 ABSTRACT With the purpose of evaluating the productive and economic performance of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), between the national biotype and imported in the EA-UTPL; The design and construction of two ponds were carried out in which 300 fingerlings of national origin (BN) and 300 fingerlings of imported origin (BI) were planted. The ponds obtained recirculation of water by 70 % with a temperature of 13.94 °C. The parameters to be evaluated were: Absolute growth (CA), absolute growth rates (TCA), relative (TCR), specific (TCE) for weight and length, feed conversion factor (FCA), mortality and survival, economic conversion rate (ICE), gross margin and benefit / cost ratio. The studies were conducted in a period of 75 days. The differences between the two biotypes were analyzed by the parametric t-student test. The results showed an accelerated growth and greater viability regarding the economic parameters in the BI, showing significant differences in all the variables compared to BN. However, the BN obtained a higher survival rate, which reflected a dominant resistance to the events that took place.
