Abstract

The present investigation has the purpose of compiling information related to the narration of popular legends, beliefs, real or fantasy events that have occurred marking a historical antecedent among the inhabitants of Canton Quilanga, constituting itself as part of their cultural identity that for years has provided a sense of belonging and interest to own and strangers. The lack of bibliographic material about the popular legends of the Quilanga canton, the growing globalization as well as the daily habit of using electronic or digital means to communicate and share information, generate the important need to have a document where you can disseminate, preserve and appreciate graphically one of the stories of popular imagery Quilanguense for current and future generations. Thus, there is a need to collect information on the narrations of legends and the general objective is to create a series of digital illustrations, from the popular legend "Tuta Pure", for the creation of an illustrated digital book.
