Estudio y diseño del sistema de agua potable, alcantarillado sanitario y alcantarillado pluvial y planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales para la parroquia Guayquichuma del cantón Catamayo, provincia de Loja

Abstract

The main objective of this project is the evaluation of the existing systems and the design of the drinking water network, sewage systems: sanitary and rainwater, and the sewage treatment plant for the residents of the El Prado neighborhood, the Guayquichuma parish capital, canton Catamayo, province of Loja. In this project an alternative of technical solution to the existing problem in the study area is exposed due to different factors such as: the shortage of the vital liquid, the quality of the water below the standards stated in the Ecuadorian regulation of sanitation, disposition erroneous excreta, and inadequate evacuation of rainwater. This study is carried out through a geographical and demographic study of the study area, evaluation of drinking water and sanitary sewerage systems, socioeconomic surveys, hydrological study, analysis of water quality that supplies the El Prado neighborhood, and sources chosen as alternatives for water collection, topographic study, soil study, economic and financial sustainability analysis of the project, as well as the environmental impact assessment of the project.
