Abstract

Abstract:The present research "Chronic work stress in caregivers of Cantón Pedro Moncayo, Tabacundo parish registered in a public entity, during the year 2017 - 2018", aims to identify the prevalence of chronic work stress. A sample group of 40 participants was analyzed, giving importance in the context of their work, as well as the causes that affect their task due to chronic work stress, under the conditions in which they carry out their work. Field and documentary research methods were used (inductive-deductive, analytical - synthetic, to obtain the results, a battery was applied (6 psychological tests). In the cases investigated the caregiver depends on the support of the family of the patients, this necessary passive help allows to alleviate the attentions of the relative with disability or third age, achieving a well-being and a situation of successful care without bringing complications of relevance because the work is shared because it is done with a complacency and affection towards the patient, as a result of this background the investigation resulted in a low level of burnout.
