Abstract

Abstract:The research theme of this research work is the "Diagnosis of the training needs of high school teachers in the areas of Physics and Mathematics of the Educational Units October 22 and Santa Ana de Cotacachi, the provinces of Pichincha and Imbabura, pertaining to the parishes of the Golondrinas and Buenos Aires respectively, academic year 2018 - 2019 "having as main objective to know the formative needs of the teachers of the baccalaureate. To carry out the study, a questionnaire sent by the UTPL was applied, where a sample of 10 teachers from the baccalaureate of the aforementioned institutions was taken. The methods used in the work were: analytical, synthetic, deductive, inductive, statistical, and hermeneutic. The proposed design is of the research - action type and the applied techniques to analyze the data were of bibliographic search, both virtual and physical, and the technique of field research. The result of the research was the lack of knowledge in basic techniques for classroom research and teachers are predisposed to continue their studies on an ongoing basis.
