Abstract:Gender discrimination is an issue that over the years has improved significantly, women have a voice and vote on the decisions they make, that is why groups have been created to defend the female sex when it is violated. The home and schools are places where students are trained in values, from here on they will be fair and committed citizens. The government of Lenin Moreno continues along the line established since 2007 with the plan of good living of former President Rafael Correa, encouraging the elimination of all types of discrimination. It was analyzed if the texts that the State gives are elaborated correctly (natural sciences, social studies, mathematics and language and literature). Through the application of a content analysis sheet and semi-structured interviews, the result was that the graphic representation of women is below the male sex, there is no equal use in the images, and the lack of training was detected Teachers on gender equality issues.
