dc.descriptionResumen: El siguiente trabajo presenta un ejercicio arquitectónico que tiene como finalidad desarrollar un espacio de acceso a la salud mental en la ciudad de Loja, Ecuador, el mismo que surge debido a la demanda de pacientes y a la falta de centros especializados en la provincia, situación que obliga a los pacientes a movilizarse a diferentes lugares del país, generando problemas para concluir los tratamientos necesarios o incluso impidiendo acceder a estos servicios. La salud mental es tan importante como la salud física para el desarrollo general de los individuos, las sociedades y los países (WHO, 2005). Es por esto que el proyecto enfrenta un problema tanto social como arquitectónico, por lo tanto, a partir del análisis de la problemática local y al estudio de criterios aplicados en la arquitectura hospitalaria, el presente trabajo desarrolla una edificación que brinda soluciones a los requerimientos del usuario a través de un espacio terapéutico y confortable, donde puedan mejorar su salud, tanto física como mental.es_ES
dc.description.abstractAbstract:The following work presents an architectural exercise that aims to develop a space for access to mental health in the city of Loja, Ecuador, which arises due to the demand of patients and the lack of specialized centers in the province, a situation that It forces patients to mobilize to different parts of the country, generating problems to conclude the necessary treatments or even preventing access to these services. Mental health is as important as physical health for the general development of individuals, societies and countries (WHO, 2005). That is why the project faces a social and architectural problem, therefore, from the analysis of local problems and the study of criteria applied in hospital architecture, this work develops a building that provides solutions to the requirements of the user through a therapeutic and comfortable space, where they can improve their health, both physical and mental.es_ES
