| dc.description | Resumen: La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo realizar un análisis descriptivo a las políticas públicas sobre el cambio climático en el Ecuador. El trabajo se basó en un análisis descriptivo de información existente en fuentes bibliográficas-documentales. Para cumplir con los objetivos se desarrollaron cuatro etapas: en la primera se realizó un inventario de las instituciones de las instituciones que se encuentran involucradas en la adaptación y mitigación de los efectos del cambio climático; en la segunda se realizó una descripción y evaluación de las funciones de cada una de las instituciones; en la tercera se presentaron las estrategias que se han desarrollado en el Ecuador para la adaptación y mitigación del cambio climático en los diferentes sectores del país; y en la cuarta etapa se presentan los programas y proyectos que se han desarrollado como medidas de acción para la adaptación y mitigación. Se concluyó evidenciando que el Ecuador ha avanzado tanto en el marco institucional como en el de políticas públicas referentes al cambio climático y su mitigación, sin embargo, tanto las políticas como las estrategias, proyectos y programas no son conocidos por todos los involucrados. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract:The objective of this research was to conduct a descriptive analysis of public politics on climate change in Ecuador. The work was based on a descriptive analysis of existing information in bibliographic-documentary sources. Four stages were developed to fulfill the objectives: in the first, an inventory was made of the institutions of the institutions that are involved in the adaptation and mitigation of the effects of climate change; in the second, a description and evaluation of the functions of each one of the institutions was carried out; in the third, the strategies developed in Ecuador for the adaptation and mitigation of climate change in the different sectors of the country were presented; and in the fourth stage, the programs and projects that have been developed as action measures for adaptation and mitigation are presented. It was concluded that Ecuador has advanced both in the institutional framework and in the public politics regarding the climate change and mitigation, however, both politics and strategies, projects and programs are not known by all involved. | es_ES |
