| Abstract: | Abstract:The socio-spatial segregation appeared as a result of urban expansion which implied a social division of space, the social differentiation of space includes three elements: economic, collective and territorial. The present investigation includes the presence of the Gran Colombia sector whose settlement is abandoned and therefore deteriorated within the consolidated urban fabric, which generates problems of socio-spatial segregation that directly affect the quality of life of the inhabitant; In response to this event, it was found that the inhabitants suffer from infrastructure and basic services, unhealthiness, insecurity, incompatible functions, among others. For this reason, this neighborhood is chosen as the ideal place to propose urban strategies for socio-spatial integration. It is in this context that the present research work is carried out initially with a meticulous search of concepts in terms of segregation and planning of the cities, followed by a quantitative analysis based on percentages that allows to indicate the existing segregation index to later establish parameters of homogeneity, promoting planning and ordering of public space and community integration. |
| Description: | Resumen: La segregación socio-espacial apareció como resultado de la expansión urbana lo que implicó una división social del espacio, la diferenciación social del espacio incluye tres elementos: el económico, colectivo y territorial. La presente investigación comprende la presencia del sector Gran Colombia cuyo asentamiento se encuentra abandonado y por ende deteriorado dentro de la trama urbana consolidada, lo cual genera problemas de segregación socio espacial que afectan directamente a la calidad de vida del habitante; como respuesta a este suceso se encontró que los habitantes padecen de infraestructura y servicios básicos, insalubridad, inseguridad, funciones incompatibles, entre otros. Por esta razón se elige este barrio como lugar idóneo para plantear estrategias urbanas de integración socio espacial. Es en este contexto que el presente trabajo de investigación se realiza inicialmente con una búsqueda minuciosa de conceptos en cuanto a segregación y planificación de las ciudades, seguidamente de un análisis cuantitativo en base a porcentajes que permita indicar el índice de segregación existente para posteriormente establecer parámetros de homogeneidad, fomentando la planificación y ordenamiento del espacio público e integración de la comunidad. |
