dc.description	Resumen: El presente trabajo de investigación estudia la adopción a partir de la teoría tridimensional del derecho expuesta por Miguel Reale. Considera que la adopción como institución jurídica tiene tres dimensiones que deben analizarse de forma integral y holística. En primer lugar, constituye un hecho social, es decir, un fenómeno social presente en la sociedad ecuatoriana, de ello dan cuenta las estadísticas del INEC y el MIES. Segundo lugar, la adopción responde a valores axiológicos que han sido esquematizados en los principios constitucionales. Y, en tercer lugar, se encuentra incluida en las normas jurídicas que la reglamenta. La investigación concluye que, por una parte, existen datos que reflejan la necesidad de agilizar los procesos de adopción o abrir nuevas formas de adopción, y por otra, que la normativa constitucional y legal no se actualiza con valores axiológicos internacionalmente reconocidos, tales como la posibilidad de adopción por parejas del mismo sexo.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract:The present research work studies the adoption of the three-dimensional theory of law exposed by Miguel Reale. It considers that adoption as a legal institution has three dimensions that must be analyzed holistically and comprehensively. In the first place, it constitutes a social fact, that is to say, a social phenomenon present in Ecuadorian society, of which the INEC and MIES statistics give an account. Second, adoption responds to axiological values that have been outlined in the constitutional principles. And third, it is included in the legal regulations that regulate it. The research concludes that, on the one hand, there are data that reflect the need to streamline adoption processes or open new forms of adoption, and on the other, that constitutional and legal regulations are not updated with internationally recognized axiological values, such as the possibility of adoption by same-sex couples.	es_ES
