Abstract:The following work shows a proposal of Environmental Management System haddressed to the Medical Systems Clinic of the San Francisco University of Quito ; Cumbayá, based on the ISO 14001:2015 Standard, it is located in Cumbayá in the Paseo de San Francisco Mall as part of the ambulatory medical care program. The first chapter shows the theoretical framework based on the importance and benefits of the implementation of the environmental management system in specific ISO 14001: 2015. The second chapter shows the methodology used for the implementation of SGA, for its development an initial environmental review was done, which describes the information found in terms of current environmental management in the Clinic, is also limited in the management of them, there is not a professional in charge of the environmental area, environmental policy and environmental management plan is not part of the company. The next step was to develop the environmental management system that includes, the context of the organization, leadership, environmental policy, planning, identification of environmental aspects and impacts, legal requirements, planning, support, resources, operation, evaluation of the performance and continuous improvement The implementation of the SGA gives the frame of reference to the clinic. The benefits of the implementation of the environmental management system compliance with environmental management, the organization can be part of inspections and audits without any problem, compliance with market demands, current affairs, suppliers and suppliers, in terms of economic benefits there is a saving in the consumption of resources, management and waste management.
