| Abstract: | Abstract:Vegetable fibers not only improve the mechanical properties of a building material but also the thermal and acoustic properties, without leaving aside that they are a fairly economical material. In the present investigation the adequate orientation of the vegetable fibers of cane and abaca bagasse in a cement matrix is analyzed, which after the respective tests gave us positive results verifying that they have both thermal and acoustic characteristics. |
| Description: | Resumen: Las fibras vegetales no solo mejoran las propiedades mecánicas de un material de construcción sino también las propiedades térmicas y acústicas, sin dejar a un lado que son un material bastante económico. La presente investigación tiene como objeto analizar la adecuada orientación de las fibras vegetales tanto de bagazo de caña y abacá en una matriz de cemento, en las cuales luego de los respectivos ensayos se pretende evidenciar las características tanto térmicas como acústicas. |
