| Abstract: | Abstract:The present thesis work consists in carrying out a Strategic Tourism Development Plan of the El Ideal parish belonging to Gualaquiza canton in the province of Morona Santiago, which will allow having a tool to boost the tourist activity of the territory and to generate new alternatives of economic income for its inhabitants. For the elaboration of this strategic plan, it was important the support of the authorities of the parish GAD and, through them, the population support, who have seen an excellent opportunity to strengthen tourism development and they have expressed their commitment to collaborate. In the first instance, a bibliographic compilation has been used to develop the situational diagnosis and has been complemented with a field investigation to complement the determination of tourism potential. In conclusion, 4 programs and 15 projects have been done, they represent an approximate investment of USD 78.600. The implementation of the plan will fulfill the objective of energizing the parish economy and positioning tourism as a new alternative for generating foreign currency for its inhabitants. |
| Description: | Resumen: El presente trabajo de tesis consiste en realizar un Plan estratégico de desarrollo turístico de la parroquia El Ideal perteneciente al cantón Gualaquiza en la provincia de Morona Santiago, mismo que permitirá contar con una herramienta de trabajo para dinamizar la actividad turística del territorio y generar nuevas alternativas de ingresos económicos para sus habitantes. Para la elaboración del presente plan estratégico se ha recurrido a las autoridades del GAD parroquial y por su intermedio a la población, quienes han visto una excelente oportunidad para fortalecer el desarrollo turístico y han manifestado el compromiso de colaborar. En primera instancia se ha recurrido a una recopilación bibliográfica para desarrollar el diagnóstico situacional y se ha complementado con una investigación de campo para complementar con la determinación del potencial turístico. Como conclusión del plan se han establecido 4 programas y 15 proyectos que representan una inversión aproximada de 78600 dólares americanos. La implementación del plan permitirá cumplir con el objetivo de dinamizar la economía de la parroquia y posicionar al turismo como una nueva alternativa de generación de divisas para sus pobladores. |
