Abstract:This essay was carried out with the objective of analyzing some of the social, educational and family problems that have an impact on the decisions that adolescents make, based on the characters of the novel Rain knows why María Fernanda Heredia Ecuadorian writer, who You can feel the aesthetic enjoyment and the transmission of arguments nurtured by values. Specifically, in La Rain, he knows why he deals with quite interesting topics such as family abandonment, bullying and family violence; Problems that converge in two young teenagers who suffer from them, however, are problems treated by the author with a simple and everyday language that can reach all audiences and offers some practical and subtle solutions that can be considered by some young person who is suffering some of them right now. The research methods were the analytical-synthetic method since the work is analyzed and synthesized for its understanding and in addition, the bibliographic and documentary research method that includes the collection, selection, synthesis, deduction and induction is used.
