| dc.description | Resumen:El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar las condiciones de pobreza, desigualdad y mercado laboral de los hogares de la parroquia Santiago, a través de los indicadores estadísticos que fueron obtenidos con la información que se obtuvo al aplicar la Encuesta Nacional de Empleo, Desempleo y Subempleo (ENEMDU), la misma que fue realizada a 61 hogares de los diferentes barrios que conforman la parroquia rural, con el fin de contribuir a las autoridades competentes con datos verídicos para la toma de decisiones de políticas públicas en beneficio de la población. Los principales resultados obtenidos de la investigación dentro de la parroquia son que la tasa de incidencia de la pobreza y pobreza extrema son relativamente altas de 76.96% y 57.35% respectivamente. El coeficiente de Gini es 0.654 lo que significa que existe una perfecta desigualdad. Finalmente, en lo referente al mercado laboral la tasa de empleo es de 96.10% y la tasa de desempleo es de 3.89%. | dc.description.abstract | Abstract:The present work has as objective to analyze the conditions of poverty, inequality and labor market of the homes of the Santiago parish, through the statistical indicators that were obtained with the information that was obtained when applying the National Survey of Employment, Unemployment and Under-employment (ENEMDU), the same one that was made to 61 households in the different neighborhoods that make up the rural parish, in order to contribute to the competent authorities with true data for public policy decisions for the benefit of the population. The main results obtained within the parish are that the incidence rate of poverty and extreme poverty are relatively high of 76.96% and 57.35% respectively. The Gini coefficient is 0.654 which means that there is perfect inequality. Finally, in relation to the labor market, the employment rate is 96.10% and the unemployment rate is 3.89%.
