Implementación y evaluación de una propuesta de Sistema Recomendador aplicable a un Entorno Virtual de Aprendizaje

Abstract

Abstract: At present the recommended systems are highly used and very useful for making predictions, however, there are not many recommended systems applicable to virtual learning environments. That is why this titling work was carried out, which consisted of the implementation of a recommender system applicable to virtual learning environments, which allows the user to obtain recommendations of educational resources based on qualifications, these recommendations are made based on User preference history. The tools used to implement the system were: java 8 Update, play Framework 2.2.6, sbt 1.2.8, xampp, apache Mahout, the system uses a Mysql database. The evaluation process carried out to the system to verify the accuracy of the recommendations was successful, obtaining as results that the more qualifications the user makes, there is a greater precision of recommendations using the Pearson technique, which is the one that gave the best results; and the less book ratings the user makes, the less accurate are the recommendations provided by the system, and here the best results are provided by the cosine technique.
