| Abstract: | Abstract: This work was carried out with the objective of knowing the effectiveness of the management of the Ramsar Sites "Lacustrine Yacuri System" and "Lacustrine System Lagoons of the Compadre", applying for this the R-METT methodology of the Ramsar Convention, using a multitemporal analysis of the vegetation cover of the Ramsar sites was carried out in the periods 2000, 2010 and 2018. As a result of the evaluation, 74.35% of the management effectiveness was obtained for the Ramsar site Lacustrine Yacuri System , being considered a satisfactory level; while for the Lacustrine Lagunas del Compadre System 64.03% was obtained, which also corresponds to a Satisfactory level of compliance. It is concluded that the two Ramsar Sites are managed correctly, but that, however, certain aspects of management must be improved in order to guarantee the long-term sustainability of the protected area. |
| Description: | Resumen: El presente trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de conocer la efectividad de manejo de los Sitios Ramsar Sistema Lacustre Yacuri y Sistema Lacustre Lagunas del Compadre , aplicando para ello la metodología R-METT de la Convención Ramsar. Adicionalmente se realizó un análisis multitemporal de la cobertura vegetal de los sitios Ramsar en los periodos 2000, 2010 y 2018. Como resultado de la evaluación se obtuvo para el sitio Ramsar Sistema Lacustre Yacuri un 74,35% de la efectividad de manejo, considerándose como un nivel satisfactorio; en tanto que para el Sistema Lacustre Lagunas del Compadre se obtuvo 64,03%, que también corresponde a un nivel Satisfactorio de cumplimiento. Se concluye que los dos Sitios Ramsar se encuentran manejados de forma correcta, pero, que, sin embargo, hay que mejorar ciertos aspectos de la gestión para de esta forma garantizar la sostenibilidad del área protegida a largo plazo. |
