Propuesta de implementación de indicadores de gobernabilidad del agua para riego

Abstract

Abstract: Good governance currently represents a primary objective of rulers to improve the relationship between citizen and government. Governance to various sectors of the country is established very frequently by applying effective indicators that can demonstrate the level of governance in any aspect to be analyzed. The present investigation proposes to carry out the first proposal of indicators of governability of water for irrigation in the province of Loja through the use of statistical methods of data collection, description, presentation and analysis. The established methodology will be developed in the Zapotillo, Vilcabamba and Campana - Malacatos irrigation systems. Irrigation surveys of the different irrigation systems will be carried out and with the information obtained, analysis methods will be applied, reviewing influencing variables in the irrigation systems to establish adequate and efficient governance, and through these variables determine effective indicators and solutions to the problems in irrigation systems in general in terms of governance. Finally, the proposal of governance indicators will be proposed to solve the needs presented in the irrigation systems.
