| dc.description | Resumen: Durante las últimas décadas se han publicado diversos estudios sobre deforestación y fragmentación del ecosistema de bosque seco tropical. Varios autores han tratado definir, caracterizar y proporcionar información de este llegando a consolidar una estructura que permite entender el funcionamiento de dicho ecosistema. En este trabajo se presenta el resultado de un metaanálisis de 90 artículos indexados sobre la deforestación y fragmentación del bosque seco tropical a nivel Mundial y Regional, desde el año 1986 hasta 2018. Identificando los bosques secos tropicales más afectados y con tasas de cambio, los principales métodos usados para cuantificar la deforestación y fragmentación, y los principales factores que amenazan la pérdida del ecosistema de bosque seco tropical. | es_ES |

Several authors have tried to define, characterize and provide information on this, consolidating a structure that allows us to understand the functioning of this ecosystem.
