Características sociales, demográficas y educativas en mujeres víctimas de violencia de género en período octubre 2017 mayo 2018

Abstract

Abstract:The degree work was prepared with the objective of collecting information on women victims of violence of the gender of the Loja canton and analyzing the variables: social, demographic and educational that influence the subject. This research is a descriptive, analytical, interpretive and quantitative study, carried out in the first reception center at the Isidro Ayora General Hospital in the Loja canton. The instrument to obtain the information was through a survey, which was applied to a sample of 94 women of different ages, to determine the importance of the condition in different characteristics. During the investigation, information related to the subject could be collected, with results related to the educational characteristics, in women with secondary education level they are the ones most exposed to gender violence (71.28%). Regarding demographic characteristics, adult women (74.47%), married and located in urban centers (72.34%), presenting higher rates of violence and, in terms of social aspects, women dedicated to household chores (43.62%) and identified as mestizas (94.68%), register greater importance on the subject.
