Diseño de un sistema de gestión ambiental para la finca bananera San Joaquín El Guayabal bajo la norma ISO 14001:2015

Abstract

Abstract:This paper deals with the Design of an Environmental Management System to reduce the environmental impacts arising from agricultural activity, in this case for the San Joaquín-El Guayabal banana farm, and to contribute to the improvement of environmental performance and to achieve the organization's commitment to reduce negative impacts. For the Initial Environmental Review (IER), on-site visits were made to the organization, as well as interviews with senior management of the banana farm. Conesa's importance matrix method was applied to assess and identify significant environmental impacts. Based on this diagnosis, the environmental management design was elaborated under the ISO 14001:2015 standard. In addition, a format was designed that in the header contains the logo of the organization, the name of the document, the code, the version, the date, the pagination, the name of the person who performs, reviews and approves. Finally, the designed system has been socialized with all interested parties, approved by the court and defended by the student.
