Fotoluminiscencia: propuesta artística para una conciencia ecológica

Abstract

Abstract: This research work proposes the elaboration of an artistic proposal focused on the appreciation of the beauty of the natural environment, as well as the magic and charm of insects such as cucuyo, capable of producing its own light. For its execution, the example of artists who have connected nature and art, in favor of ecological awareness, is addressed through the use of different non-traditional materials such as electronic waste, waste materials, photoluminescent and phosphorescent pigments, etc. The final product uses the recycling of electronic waste, damaged light bulbs and glass containers in interaction with photoluminescent pigments to form works that invite the viewer to approach and discover small artificial ecospheres that allude to nature, specifically the environments in which cucuyo lives; three works that seek the awakening of ecological consciousness and reflection on its care, preservation and importance of man's contribution to achieve it.
