Abstract

Abstract: Guaranteeing Comprehensive Child Development is one of the priorities of the Ecuadorian state, since it promotes the growth and maturation of the capacities, abilities and skills of the human being, aspects that promote the general learning of the toddler. Considering the importance of the global development of the psychomotor, cognitive, language and socio-affective areas, the evaluation of the integral development of children from 4 to 6 years of age is proposed as a research topic, and as the main objective, to determine how gives the integral development of children at this age. The information presented has been selected from among several authors who have been involved in the subject throughout their career. This research was developed applying methods such as analytical, deductive and hermeneutical; techniques such as reading, concept maps, synoptic tables among others, which facilitated the compilation, analysis and synthesis of the theoretical foundations. With the theoretical foundation obtained, it is intended to contribute updated and essential information for use by teachers, parents and other people involved in the school environment.
