Análisis y puesta en valor del patrimonio cultural inmaterial del cantón Saraguro provincia de Loja, año 2019

Abstract

Abstract: The present investigation is about the analysis and enhancement of the intangible cultural heritage of Saraguro and its parishes, in order to identify and safeguard ancestral knowledge, so that it can continue to be transmitted from one generation to another. For the study, the theoretical framework was carried out, in which different concepts were considered about intangible cultural heritage, classification, importance and enhancement. A situational diagnosis was made to understand the socio-cultural, ecological and economic areas, to understand tangible and intangible resources that it possesses. The population and the sample were determined to carry out the data collection, through the survey technique applied to young people and for knowing if they have knowledge about the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). In addition, the focus group and in-depth interviews were carried out in older adults, because they are people with extensive ancestral knowledge. Based on the information collected, a proposal is made to improve the value of intangible cultural heritage. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations of the investigation are present.
