| Abstract: | Abstract: This research topic investigates some human rights of women deprived of liberty at the Loja Social Rehabilitation Center, Ecuador and consists of two parts: one theoretical and the other practical.The first two chapters reflect a theoretical analysis that addresses national and international legislation and jurisprudence that serves as a legal basis for the protection of the rights of persons deprived of liberty, with special attention to the case of women due to their vulnerable situation. In addition, the rights under analysis in this work are three (i) theright to sexual and reproductive health; (ii) right to motherhood; and (iii) right to the superior welfare of the minor in centers of deprivation of liberty. In the fieldwork addressed in the third chapter, 74 surveys are applied regarding their reality of the recognition of their rights and the measures adopted by the administration of the Center to promote the respect and guarantee of those exposed rights. |
| Description: | Resumen: Este tema de investigación, indaga sobre algunos derechos humanos de las mujeres privadas de libertad en el Centro de Rehabilitación Social Loja, Ecuador y consta de dos partes: una teórica y otra práctica. Los dos primeros capítulos reflejan un análisis teórico que aborda normativa y jurisprudencia nacional e internacional que sirve de base jurídica para la protección de derechos de personas privadas de libertad con especial atención el caso de mujeres por su situación de vulnerabilidad. Además, los derechos objeto de análisis en el presente trabajo son tres (i) el derecho a la salud sexual y reproductiva; (ii) derecho a la maternidad; y (iii) derecho al bienestar superior del menor en centros de privación de libertad. En el trabajo de campo abordado en el tercer capítulo, se aplican 70 encuestas referentes a su realidad sobre el reconocimiento de sus derechos y las medidas adoptadas por la administración del Centro para promover el respeto y la garantía de esos derechos expuestos. |
